3 Tips to Healthy Eating as a Busy Student

1. If you're gonna snack your meals, do it the healthy way

As a student myself, I like to take and eat zip bags of snacks into class. But sometimes the things we choose to snack on become our breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So a way to fix this partially is to switch to healthy choices like blueberries over chips ahoy! and granola over potato chips. Those are one of some 'brain foods' that could improve your focus and concentration!

2. Lay off the fast food

Who doesn't love McDonald's or Papa John's? I know I do! We all think it's just pure deliciousness but you might not know what they're actually selling you. Did you know some fast food's chicken nuggets contain a chemical preservative called tertiary butylhydroquinone, which is extracted from petroleum? Guess not! Food is fuel for your body and has a direct impact on how you feel as well as on your overall health which will eventually effect you performance in school. Do yourself a favor and lay off the fast food.

3. Modify your everyday food
Ramen Noodles is without a doubt a primary food for college students living in dorms. There's nothing wrong with let your creativity flow with what you think would be nice with just plain ramen like frozen veggies. You don't have to always change your daily diet to get the nutrients you need, you can always modify it like this especially when you have a limited food choices as a college student.
